How To Find Anyone’s Email

Toolkit — download the following chrome extensions:Rapportive: Confirm and find emails — click compose on gmail, then type in someone’s email, if the email is correct, the photo of the person from LinkedIn will appear on the side panel. Most people’s emails are a variation of:[email protected], [email protected], [email protected] etc. so, if you guess someone’s email and type it into gmail with reparative you know you have the right email. Most companies use the same convention for all their emails, so if one person’s email is [email protected] anyone else’s email form the same company is likely to follow the same convention.

Clearbit: Does the same thing as Raportive but with data from more sources, so if reparative can’t confirm, someone times Clearbit can. Clearbit will also give you an estimate of how much money their company raised. FYI most startup founer’s emails are [email protected]

Email Hunter: Will eadd an email hunter button to the linkedin of every person you search in linkedin, great thing to try first when looking for emails.

Name2Email: Will allow you to put the first and last name of a person @nameofcompany.com in your “To:” field in gmail and will then suggest potential combinations, hover over the names suggested, if one is correct Rapportive will show the persons’ photo.

When you find the name of the relevant reporter, linked in search their first and last name and the name of their company. Their linked in will usually come up, click the email hunter button for the first guess for their email. Put that into your To: field in a new gmail email, if Rapportive or Clearbit respond, jackpot, email them. Else, go to google and search: email firstname lastname “@nameofcompany.com”

and see if their email comes up, if not, go to the to field in gmail and start guessing their emails until you get a match.
